Business Analyst

This key role contributes to concretely improving the customer experience, reducing friction, accelerating the resolution of "problems" and sustainably strengthening the value created for our clients.

Your role

The Business Analyst collects and analyses client needs, whether it is identifying weaknesses or opportunities for improving business processes, evolving organisational structures or addressing IT challenges. They challenge these needs, formalise them into clear and structured requirements, then identify different possibilities for implementation in IT solutions.

They are notably involved in projects for digitising and automating business processes, as well as in maintenance and development activities of software solutions.

On a daily basis, the Business Analyst works closely with Project Managers (PM), Product Owners (PO), IT teams and business stakeholders. They ensure a common understanding of needs and maintain the link between business expectations and their translation into technological solutions.

In summary, the Business Analyst is a true facilitator of transformation: they understand the challenges, ask the right questions, structure the needs and help transform ideas into value-added solutions.

Your responsibilities

Understand and gather needs:

• Define the process and methods used for gathering needs (workshops, interviews, event storming, etc.)
• Formalise needs, validate them and transcribe them into requirements, specify and model them
• Map and describe processes as well as value flows

Analyse and challenge needs:

• Analyse the overall functioning of business processes, organisational structures and IT challenges
• Analyse the needs of internal and external stakeholders
• Document business needs through specifications and mock-ups (writing specifications)
• Propose IT and organisational solutions to meet the needs

Support implementation:

• Write user stories and acceptance criteria, feed the backlog with the Product Owner
• Participate in agile ceremonies and remain available for development teams throughout implementation
• Contribute to defining test scenarios and verify the conformity of delivered solutions with analysed needs

Your profile

• Technical sensitivity: you are comfortable communicating with developers and understand the challenges of a software solution; training or experience in IT (development, integration, databases, API) is a plus
• Experience with agile methodology (user stories, backlog, acceptance tests)
• Knowledge of Swiss social insurances (AHV/IV/APG, PC, family allowances, LAMal) and experience with complex business software: a major asset
• Customer orientation: you think in terms of success and customer experience
• Solution orientation: when faced with a difficulty, you propose options rather than just reporting problems; you are pragmatic and like to get things moving
• Team spirit and interpersonal skills: you know how to bring together business and technical interlocutors, lead workshops and coordinate multidisciplinary teams
• Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA) or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP): a plus
• Native French or German speaker with good command (oral and written) of the other language; knowledge of English: a plus
