The Military Service Replacement Tax Administration is responsible for the assessment and collection of the military service replacement tax. It handles objections and complaints, grants waivers, deferrals, and instalment payments, and is responsible for exemptions from the military service replacement tax. For the Military Service Replacement Tax Department, we are seeking a Specialist in Military Service Replacement Tax, 80-100% at the Solothurn location from 01.01.2027 or by arrangement.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the initial registration of those liable for the replacement tax, for processing and preparing assessment factors, for invoicing and assessing those liable, and for the collection (including legal debt collection) of the replacement tax.
- In your role, you issue decisions on instalment payments and deferrals.
- You maintain contact both by telephone and in writing with those liable, as well as with federal, cantonal, and municipal administrative offices.
Your profile
- You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship with a Federal VET Diploma (EFZ) or an equivalent qualification.
- Preferably, you have a strong affinity for numbers and possess knowledge in the area of taxation.
- You are proficient in German, both spoken and written, and have very good MS Office skills. You are a service-oriented person, orderly, with organisational talent, and work precisely, efficiently, and in a structured manner. Your resilience and habit of working independently complete your profile.
