The Migration Office is looking for an

Administrative Officer in Administration and Finance (m/f/d)

for the Sonneblick Asylum Centre in Walzenhausen/AR from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement

• You manage the administration of the centre and handle the files of asylum seekers
• You create lists, statistics and accounts and take on a variety of administrative tasks
• You organise admissions and departures and support social and health administrative processes
• You supervise the telephone switchboard and the counter service and process incoming and outgoing mail
• You coordinate appointments and consultations, liaise with municipalities, authorities and advisory centres, and handle correspondence
• You organise meetings and take minutes
• You take on tasks in the financial area, especially in accounts payable, cash management as well as invoicing and billing

• You have completed a commercial apprenticeship EFZ and ideally have some professional experience in an administrative environment
• You enjoy working in an organised manner, keep an overview even in a varied working day and complete tasks reliably and carefully
• You enjoy contact with people and approach different stakeholders with appreciation, openness and service orientation
• You have good IT user skills and quickly familiarise yourself with new programmes
• You work independently, think ahead and actively contribute as a committed team member
• Foreign language skills and a category B driving licence are advantageous
