Long Turning Supervisor (m/f/d) / 100%What awaits you – Leading, shaping, implementing

• You take on the disciplinary and professional leadership of our newly established long turning team (currently 5 employees plus apprentices)
• You actively participate in daily operations – setting up, programming, and producing highly precise stainless steel parts on our Tornos and Tsugami machines (7 units)
• You lead by presence – in the hall, at the shopfloor board, in conversations
• You lead a team of experienced specialists: a senior technical expert supports you. Three long-standing colleagues contribute know-how in process reliability, quality, machine availability, and training.
• You work closely with our production planning (PPS) and shape the detailed planning for your team – resilient, realistic, and well communicated
• You ensure that planned structures are also lived – currently, there is sometimes a lack of process security and systematics, much is based on individual experience. Here you bring order – with sensitivity and a clear line

• You provide your team with orientation and ensure a clean, efficient workflow in daily business
• You identify where short-term improvements ("Quick Wins") lie and where long-term systematics need to be built
• You recognise skills – and deploy your people according to their strengths

• You have experience in CNC long turning or Swiss-type turning, ideally in medical technology or similarly demanding industries
• You are familiar with Tornos, Tsugami, or similar machines and feel confident in programming, setting up, and producing
• You are a bridge builder – whether to the neighbouring short turning department (shift coordination, professional exchange), to quality assurance (inspection processes, first article approvals), or to your production manager. You ensure that interfaces do not cause friction but work smoothly
• You understand leadership not as a status but as a genuine contribution to team success – and you want it because you know how valuable it is
• You are eager to take responsibility – and ready to advance a team waiting for new leadership
• You plan proactively, think networked, and speak plainly
