Über den Job
The HR Generalist at Martel GmbH reports to the Head of Finance and Administration and will support Martel’s HR and administrative departments across Martel GmbH and its subsidiaries.
As the HR Generalist you will be responsible for partnering with our managers and leaders to provide comprehensive HR and administrative support and contribute to the success of Martel Group.
Specific duties, activities and responsibilities include:
- Manage and support the end-to-end employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and offboarding.
- Assist managers with employee relations matters, performance improvement plans, and career development discussions.
- Recommend, undertake, and oversee employee training and development.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR programs and initiatives to drive employee engagement and retention.
- Support managers in addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity in HR systems.
- Assist with HR reporting and analytics, providing insights to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline HR processes and improve efficiency.
- Oversee the time management system and process ensuring the timely submission, approval and reporting.
- Support the monthly payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payroll administration.
- Collaborate with the team and external payroll providers to resolve any payroll-related issues and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Other Ad-hoc HR and administrative tasks
Fit for the challenge
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Swiss HR Fachausweis (HRSE)
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in HR, with a focus on HR generalist/HR Operations responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of Swiss labor laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism.
- Fluent in German and English both written and verbal, other languages a plus
- Good IT knowledge and skills

What could be a plus?
- Experience with HRIS and ERP systems, such as Odoo and/or Bexio
- Experience drafting and implementing HR policies and guidelines
- Experience with Dutch labor law and HR practices
