ZurichYour Tasks
- You are responsible for the establishment and development of the special needs education discipline within the youth promotion department.
- You observe and conduct assessments in classes to evaluate (triage) needs and are responsible for the individual and integrative special needs support of individual participants or small groups (according to triage).
- You advise and support teachers and coaches / key persons in support planning (close collaboration).
- You actively participate in team teaching, team meetings, exchange forums, case discussions and school development, and also take part in clarification, status meetings and crisis intervention.
- You collaborate with case managers, specialist offices, and experts (initiating diagnostics and support measures with professionals).
- Participation in internal and external training according to eduQua, intervision or "best practice" groups as well as involvement in working groups.
Your Profile
- Degree in special needs education or remedial education at FH Bachelor level with advanced practical and implementation knowledge or FH Master with extended practical and implementation knowledge
- Solid methodological-didactic knowledge in teaching as well as in special needs education
- Advisory skills within an interdisciplinary team
- Knowledge of current developments in teaching and special needs education
- Ideally experience in the after-school sector as well as teaching young people with refugee and migration backgrounds
- Enjoyment in stimulating and accompanying learning processes in adolescents and young adults
- Motivated, flexible and transculturally competent personality with a proactive working style

Your Salary
Your gross salary for a 100% workload is expected to be between 100,000 and 125,000 Swiss francs per year.
The exact salary depends on your education and professional experience. During the selection process, we will determine your salary based on our salary guidelines. Applicants who do not yet have the required knowledge or experience may be classified below the salary range in individual cases. Additionally, AOZ pays allowances for work at night and on Sundays. Further salary development depends on your performance and AOZ's financial possibilities.
