The Regional Nursing Centre Baden is one of the largest providers of long-term care in Switzerland. We offer our residents of all ages specialised professional nursing and care in various areas of expertise. Our headquarters in Baden (AG) will be comprehensively modernised in the coming years through new construction and renovations, complemented by 86 new retirement apartments.
The dementia department currently accommodates 72 residents and will in future accommodate 170. The nursing departments are operated according to Christoph Held’s three worlds model. For the newly created position at the RPB site in Baden, we are looking for an expert, reliable, and committed individual as Professional Responsibility in Nursing (m/f/d) to start immediately or by arrangement.
Professional Responsibility in Nursing (m/f/d), Dementia, 80 - 100 %
This is how you will support us:
- You will take on the professional leadership of the staff in the nursing department in consultation with the nursing department management and the nursing specialist
- You will ensure the nursing and care of our residents within the framework of primary nursing, which includes professional and evidence-based care
- You will reflect on, review, and plan appropriate and sustainable implementation strategies for the professional development of staff together with the nursing department management and the team, e.g. consolidation of the nursing process, implementation of professional innovations, coaching of staff, etc.
- You will advise, empower, and support the nursing team in complex and challenging care situations
- You will review work instructions, participate in projects, and conduct knowledge transfers within the nursing department
- You will conduct regular case discussions within the nursing department
- You will be involved in direct nursing care and participate in the incontinence group
This is how you can convince us:
- You have completed training as a Dipl. Nursing Specialist HF / FH with additional CAS / DAS training in the field of dementia or have completed a Bachelor in Nursing
- You bring in-depth knowledge of validation and/or basal stimulation
- You have already gained experience in professional leadership and can apply this sustainably for the benefit of the nursing department
- You bring experience in a comparable position, preferably in the long-term care sector
- You enjoy implementing and accompanying change processes
- You are an empathetic, innovative, flexible, and cheerful personality with a solution-oriented way of thinking and acting
