Procurement of Maintenance and Repair Services
for our location in Lucerne.
Your Role
- Carrying out the procurement of maintenance and repair services
- Planning and securing the required workshop capacities and ensuring the availability of spare parts and wheelsets through spare parts and wheelset management, respectively with workshops possessing refurbishment expertise
- Price and condition negotiations (e.g. according to service catalogue)
- Requesting price lists and hourly rates from workshops; close cooperation with revision planning and sales regarding workshop capabilities and capacities
- Ensuring commissioning and monitoring of workshop services
- Evaluation of maintenance and repair service providers
- Travel activity (locations Lucerne and Hamburg, workshop visits) approx. 30%
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training, preferably in a technical field, as well as procurement-specific further education (e.g. purchasing specialist, purchasing manager)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (FH/University) as well as procurement-specific further education
- Further training in contract law is an advantage
- Several years of experience in operational and/or strategic procurement, ideally in the area of maintenance/repair of freight wagons
- Proven and very good knowledge in the field of freight wagons as well as in the international railway environment
- Very good German language skills in spoken and written form (level C1) as well as good English skills (at least level B2); additional language skills such as French, Italian or Spanish are an advantage
- Good communication and negotiation skills with a professional appearance and clear expression
- Very good self-organisation, reliability and structured working
- Customer orientation, teamwork and flexibility
- Stress resistance, resilience and conflict management skills, as well as confident conduct in demanding negotiations
- High commitment and result orientation
