We are looking for a committed and experienced medical secretary who enjoys contributing to a lively orthopaedic environment and taking on responsibility. With your proactive and structured working style, you drive improvements, support our team professionally, and bring your strong organisational talent.
Start date: Immediately or by arrangement
Your tasks
- Responsible for the annual planning and organisation of the medical staff
- Managing reporting and processing medical documents
- Creating, editing and managing reports
- Responsible for external consultations, including correspondence in French
- Contact person for internal and external offices, institutions, therapists, hospitals, social insurance as well as parents and patients, and regular coordination with the assigned medical staff
- Correspondence in German, French and Italian
- General secretarial duties (managing various agendas of the medical staff, processing incoming emails, creating consultation reports, preparing and sending prescriptions, orders and aids, maintaining master data, file release, billing, etc.)
- Handling insurance and disability insurance enquiries
- General administrative support for the doctors
- Holiday cover for team colleagues
Your profile
- A completed commercial/administrative/business training and/or completed training as an MPA with very good administrative skills
- Several years of professional experience, preferably in healthcare/as a medical secretary, and good knowledge of medical terminology
- Confident French and German, Italian an advantage
- Enjoyment of varied work
- Proficient PC skills, good user knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- A structured, calm, efficient and independent working style and a quick grasp, the ability to prioritise as well as a high sense of responsibility and quality awareness are essential
- A reliable, thoughtful, friendly and straightforward as well as resilient personality who finds dealing with change easy and enjoys working in a team.
