In the Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy (Clinic Director Dr med Angelo Bernardon), children and adolescents up to the age of 18 are treated. The integrated treatment offer of the clinic includes an outpatient area with a central outpatient clinic as well as four outpatient clinics distributed across the canton, a consultation and liaison service, and an inpatient area with an acute ward, two psychotherapy wards, a day clinic and a clinic school. The teams consist of clinical professionals from the fields of medicine, psychology, nursing and social pedagogy, and in the clinic school, teachers and special needs educators. The Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy is a teaching hospital of the University of Zurich and a certified training centre Category A.

Profile

• You have a tertiary qualification in social pedagogy HF/FH as well as professional experience in the child and adolescent psychiatric field or a comparable area of work
• CAS qualification in a psychiatric specialist subject is an advantage
• Authentic and trustworthy personality with high social competence
• Ability to think in a networked way, implementation competence and resilience
• You are flexible, committed and a responsible personality with joy in demanding patient care in a lively environment
• You have an interest in professional leadership and defined management tasks
• You speak and write fluent German and have a confident handling of common office applications

Tasks

• You support and relieve the ward management and take over their tasks in their absence
• Together with the ward management and the interprofessional team, you significantly shape the professional development on the ward
• You take over the specialist responsibility on the ward and are the first contact person for the team (nursing and social pedagogy) for professional questions
• Together with the ward management, you are responsible for achieving the annual goals
• Together with the Head of Professional Development, you engage in projects and define processes
• Where necessary, you conduct training sessions on specific specialist topics within the team
• You are committed to implementing the treatment mandate and use interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure a patient-oriented treatment process
