Responsibilities of Health Specialist:

• Professional responsibility for care planning in nursing documentation and its practical implementation and review. Currently maintaining classification in BESA / RAI and correct electronic recording
• Main responsibility for seamless nursing documentation
• Responsible for professional nursing guidance including continuous development
• Leading nursing and medical-technical tasks such as medication management, wound management and treatment care
• Taking over daily responsibility including leadership of nursing staff
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with all persons and institutions involved in treatment and care, coordinating communication (physiotherapy, daily activities, kitchen, technical service etc.)
• Ensures care and support adapted to the situation according to the nursing mission statement, reference planning and latest standards
• Conducts specialist consultations for residents and relatives
• Monitors the health status of residents
• Co-responsible for creating, updating, implementing instructions and nursing standards
• Co-responsible for the theoretical and practical promotion of employees
• Active participation in meetings and internal training
• Co-responsibility for safety and health at the workplace

Requirements

• Qualification as Dipl. Nursing Specialist HF (professional experience advantageous)
• Willingness to work day and night shifts
• Interest in part-time/internal further training
• Assumption of responsibility
• Willingness to positively embrace change
• BESA and/or RAI knowledge advantageous
• Team-oriented, communicative and empathetic person
