Support Technician & Trainer (m/f)

About the job

We offer an electrician a very exciting and challenging position with plenty of development potential. Do you enjoy tricky, technical tasks? Do you have the perseverance and determination to thoroughly familiarise yourself with a broad product range? In addition to support (hotline/email) and repairs, you will be responsible for a number of product groups (cookers, pressure steamers, tilting devices, induction). With your profound expertise in these products, you will eventually be able to offer training for service technicians and specialist dealers (in the respective languages you master).

MAIN TASKS SUPPORT

• Help-line (telephone, online, written) for service technicians and dealers
• Support for export managers
• Collaboration with production and development

REPAIRS

• Workshop repairs, overhauls and inspections of induction and devices
• On-site assignments at the customer for complex cases
• Developing electrotechnical solutions
• Quality control
• Customer visits for repairs/training on site, rarely abroad

TRAINING

After thorough familiarisation and appropriate deepening of product expertise as well as according to the available language skills

• Organising, preparing and conducting face-to-face and online training at various levels for service technicians and dealers

ADMINISTRATION

• Issuing repair quotations
• Maintaining failure statistics
• Handling complaints
• Product data maintenance

REQUIREMENTS

• Completed training as an electrician EFZ / automotive mechatronics technician / automation technician
• English skills at least A2 (French skills are a plus)
• Willingness to initially gain experience as a service technician (field service)
• Quick comprehension, willingness to learn, open to new things
• Independent, responsible, flexible
• Entrepreneurial thinking and acting, resilience
• Willingness to work on site at the customer or to undertake assignments abroad
• Enjoyment of and good interpersonal skills
• Interest in methodology, didactics, knowledge transfer, presentation techniques
• Good knowledge of MS Office products
