Do you want to help shape the energy strategy of the Canton of Zurich? Reliable and economical energy supply and forward-looking planning of energy needs are of great importance for the economy and society. Take on a key role at the interface of business, politics and energy.
Your Tasks
As head of the Energy Economics section, you develop well-founded decision-making bases in the field of energy economics. You support the canton in safeguarding its ownership interests in the electricity sector and are responsible for handling energy economic initiatives from the cantonal council. Together with a small team, you operate in the tension field of politics, administration and market and actively contribute to the further development of the cantonal energy strategy and energy planning.
Your Profile
For this demanding and versatile role, you have a completed degree as a business economist, economist or engineer with additional business management training and several years of experience in energy economic functions, ideally in the electricity supply sector. Experience in leading a team, negotiation skills, conceptual thinking, a high level of economic knowledge as well as a feel for politics and the processes of public administration at federal, cantonal and municipal levels complete your profile.
