Do you want to shape the quality culture of an established food company, lead a small team and actively further develop existing structures? In this leadership role, you combine strategic foresight with a strong practical approach.

Responsibilities

• You lead the quality management department with two employees and keep the management system effective and audit-ready according to FSSC 22000.
• You plan internal and external audits, accompany certifications and represent the department towards authorities, customers and testing bodies.
• You manage the HACCP system and ensure effective monitoring of CCPs, OPRPs and operational hygiene requirements.
• You assess deviations, complaints and laboratory results, initiate appropriate measures and monitor their implementation.
• You promote quality awareness, work closely with production and cover for the operations management during holidays.

Requirements

• You have a degree as a food engineer FHETH or BSc/MSc in Food Technology/Science and several years of QM experience in food production.
• You are familiar with GFSI-recognised standards, preferably FSSC 22000, and are experienced with HACCP, GHP, CCPs, OPRPs, audits and document control.
• Ideally, you have knowledge of Swiss food law and experience in microbiological assessments.
• You analyse complex issues, document clearly, set clear priorities and consistently follow up on measures.
• You lead pragmatically, communicate appreciatively and present yourself confidently both in production and towards testing bodies.
