The Emmen Center, with over 90 shops, has been the leading shopping centre in Central Switzerland for more than 50 years – a place to shop, experience and linger. It is part of the Maus-Frères Group, a traditional Swiss family business based in Geneva. The group includes, among others, Manor, Lacoste, Gant, Aigle as well as eleven shopping centres throughout Switzerland.

Area: Shopping centre/Retail
Start date: immediately or by arrangement
Duration: 6-12 months


YOUR TASKS

• Assisting in the planning, conception, coordination and implementation of events and exhibitions.
• Planning and organising the children’s world activities on Wednesday afternoons.
• Assisting with the ongoing management and development of our social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn) as well as our website.
• Supporting the development and implementation of marketing campaigns – online and offline.
• Writing advertising texts, newsletters and press releases.
• Administrative and organisational support in media planning and placement (print, online, radio and OOH).
• Supporting other varied tasks in the marketing and events area.
  

YOUR PROFILE

• Confident German language skills, both spoken and written.
• Interest and enthusiasm for marketing, social media and events.
• Team-oriented personality with a strong hands-on mentality and enjoyment in active participation in a shopping centre.
• Organisational talent with creative ideas, initiative and quick comprehension.
• Independent, reliable and structured way of working.
• Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends for events.
• Enjoyment of a varied working day directly at the Emmen Center (no home office possible).
• Initial experience with social media and WordPress is an advantage.
