To strengthen our team in Baden in the canton of Aargau, we are looking for an Electronics Maintenance Technician (m/f/d) to start immediately or by arrangement.
As part of our team, you are responsible for the trouble-free operation of all production facilities of our main customer Accelleron Turbo Systems (formerly ABB) in Baden AG. Accelleron is a world-leading company in the development and manufacture of exhaust gas turbochargers.
At Quant Service in Baden, you will find a highly motivated and collegial team of about 30 employees who work as a maintenance team in various functions.
What are your responsibilities?
- Independently performing maintenance and repairs on CNC-controlled machine tools and various systems
- Diagnosing, analysing and resolving faults with necessary support from the local service team
- Documenting maintenance and repair work as well as any adjustments to maintenance procedures and filing them in the Quant Service portal
- Proactive optimisations as part of the continuous improvement process
- Demonstrating and promoting a high safety standard
- Supporting new investment projects of the customer including training
- Assisting with spare parts procurement as well as general workshop tasks
What do we expect from you?
- Completed training in the electrical engineering field (automation technician, electronics technician, or electrical fitter)
- Experience in the maintenance of machine tools is desirable
- Control experience (e.g. Siemens, Heidenhain, Fanuc, Okuma) as well as drive and measurement technology is an advantage
- Independent working style as well as high customer and service orientation
- Good German skills in spoken and written form, English skills are an advantage
- Willingness for occasional on-call duty in case of technical faults
- Occasional external assignments at other customers in Switzerland
- Several years of experience in the maintenance environment is desirable
