How you can contribute
- Manage parliamentary and Federal Council affairs
- Coordinate parliamentary committee meetings and BSV session affairs
- Responsible for office controlling and ensure that the Director and management are always informed about the current status of office, parliamentary and Federal Council affairs
- Lead cross-departmental projects for the design, implementation and further development of new business processes as well as for the continuous optimisation of process management
- Ensure efficient support of the office director by coordinating affairs, meetings, appointments and administrative tasks
- Responsible for organising meetings and minute-taking of management meetings as well as preparing and coordinating appearances of the office director
What makes you unique
- Advanced professional education (e.g. federal specialist certificate in administration, commercial clerk with further training or similar)
- 2–3 years of functionally relevant experience in administrative or coordination tasks, ideally in the context of the federal administration
- Sound knowledge of procedures for Federal Council and parliamentary affairs (including Acta Nova); knowledge of internal federal processes and structures
- Independent and structured working style; strong coordination and communication skills; service-oriented, reliable and discreet
- Good active knowledge of at least one second official language and, if possible, passive knowledge of a third official language; the main working languages are German and French
In a nutshell
You steer, coordinate and monitor Federal Council, departmental and office affairs and ensure that all parties involved are informed at the appropriate level. In addition, you support the office director in planning day-to-day business, political affairs, office events and external events.
