Team Leader Receivables Management Debt Collection (m/f/d)
(permanent, full-time) Join our team at our location in Schlieren
Your Responsibilities
- You lead our customer service and receivables management team with passion, promote a high-performance team culture, develop the area strategically and operationally, actively participate in day-to-day business, and take on your own receivables cases.
- You are responsible for the deployment planning, control, and further development of a team of 7 employees and ensure efficient processes throughout the entire receivables management process.
- You ensure professional, customer-oriented, and at the same time consistent handling of outstanding receivables and find the right balance between customer satisfaction, payment security, and economic company goals.
- You analyse relevant service, debt collection, and performance key figures (KPIs) as well as optimisation potentials and derive effective measures to increase efficiency, success rates, and service quality.
- You drive the continuous development of our receivables management processes, implement innovative solutions, and use modern technologies to make the handling of receivables and customer concerns more efficient.
- You ensure that legal, regulatory, and internal company requirements in receivables management and debt collection are complied with.
- You coach and support your team in demanding customer and debtor discussions, strengthen negotiation skills, and promote the professional and personal development of employees.
- You manage and accompany the collaboration with external debt collection service providers, lawyers, and other partners and ensure efficient handling of complex cases.
Qualifications
You bring with you
- You have completed a commercial apprenticeship. Alternatively, you have successfully completed a business administration degree or a comparable university of applied sciences degree.
- You have several years of leadership experience – ideally at least five years – and have successfully led and developed teams in customer service, receivables management, debt collection, or a comparable environment.
- You convince with a strong leadership personality and combine assertiveness with empathy, appreciation, and a motivating leadership style.
- You think entrepreneurially, act solution-oriented, and manage to reconcile customer orientation with economic goals and successful receivables realisation.
- You have a good understanding of service, dunning, and debt collection processes and recognise opportunities to optimise procedures and results.
- You work data-driven, analyse key figures confidently, and derive concrete measures to control and further develop your area of responsibility.
- You communicate convincingly at various levels and appear confident both towards employees and internal and external stakeholders.
- Your German and English skills are business fluent in spoken and written form. Additionally, you have fluent French skills.
