The Futuris Foundation is a newly established non-profit grant-making foundation based in Zurich. Its purpose is to promote natural sciences and technology as well as vocational training and labour market integration for young people and people with disabilities. The foundation collaborates with other non-profit actors.

For the development of the foundation's activities, we are looking for a person with a broad knowledge horizon, experience in the environment of grant-making foundations, interest in the foundation's purpose, and enthusiasm for building a professional organisation as

Managing Director

(50-80%)

Your tasks and responsibilities

▪ Shaping the funding policy in the defined areas and fields of action

▪ Affinity for the funding areas and professional expertise in one of the areas is an advantage

▪ Further development of the foundation's strategy

▪ Operational management of the foundation, external representation

▪ Identification and support of effective projects and initiatives

Your profile

▪ Tertiary education

▪ Several years of project management and/or leadership experience in the environment of grant-making foundations, as well as experience in finance and budgeting

▪ High degree of responsibility and independence
