CATEGORY MANAGER
These are your tasks
- Procurement of individual components and assemblies
- Execution of the procurement process (requirements and procurement market analysis, tendering, negotiation, awarding, supplier selection with contract conclusion)
- Participation in the creation of supplier and product group strategies and their implementation
- Participation in the qualification of suppliers
- Participation in supplier audits
- Active supplier management as Lead Buyer
- Contract negotiations with suppliers
What you bring with you
- Technical basic training with appropriate further education in purchasing
- Preferably experience in vehicle and/or plant construction
- Proven experience in supplier management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as good negotiation skills
- Very good negotiation and contract-secure language skills in German and English
- Confident handling of SAP ERP system and MS Office
- Willingness to travel internationally for business
