Head of Facility Management & Infrastructure (70-100%)

Your tasks

• Strategic and operational responsibility for infrastructure and facility management topics within the GEFAB Cooperative.
• Planning, controlling, and further development of the technical infrastructure of our operations.
• Leadership of the technical services as well as professional-strategic support of the housekeeping departments.
• Responsibility for investment, maintenance, and repair planning.
• Management of external specialist companies, suppliers, and service providers.
• Further development of standards, quality requirements, and cross-operational processes.
• Responsibility for occupational safety, health protection, fire protection, and compliance topics.
• Development and coordination of the ICT strategy of GEFAB as well as management of external IT partners.
• Support of digitalisation and ICT projects as well as advising the management and operational leaders.
• Practical work in the technical service.

Additionally, you actively contribute to the further development of our organisation and create sustainable added value for all GEFAB operations through uniform standards and future-oriented solutions.

Your profile

• Technical or business education with further training in facility management or a related field.
• Several years of professional and leadership experience in facility management, infrastructure management, or a comparable function.
• Experience in managing projects, investments, and external service providers.
• Good knowledge in the areas of building technology, occupational safety, and health protection.
• Interest in ICT, digitalisation, and future topics as well as experience in collaborating with external ICT partners.
• Entrepreneurial thinking, service orientation, and high degree of independence.
• Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and enjoyment in working with diverse stakeholders.
• Very good German language skills.
