On behalf of our client, global event company with entities in multiple countries, we are looking for an experienced, motivated and dynamic professional for a position located in the canton Basel, Switzerland as:
Key responsibilities:
Lead and evolve global People & Culture strategy across all offices and event locations.
Serve as a strategic partner to the leadership team on organizational design, leadership development, and cultural transformation.
Foster an inclusive and equitable workplace, embedding DEI principles into every aspect of the employee lifecycle.
Oversee global talent acquisition, performance management, learning & development, and succession planning.
Drive employee engagement and champion initiatives that support collaboration, innovation, and well-being.
Ensure compliance with global employment laws and best-in-class HR practices.
Partner with Group HR to align company’s people strategy with wider group priorities while tailoring it to the unique needs of the company’s brand.
Act as a trusted coach to senior leaders and a visible culture ambassador across the organization.
Key Requirements:
Diploma from a university or in applied sciences
Membership in professional associations/networks is a plus
10+ years of proven leadership experience in People & Culture/HR in a fast-paced, international, and creative environment.
At least 10 years of work experience with modern HR practices including employee experience, DEI, and organizational development in a global international environment.
Min. 8 years of solid experience in the event/entertainment/media business with a deep understanding of the latest developments and trends.
5+ years of profound experience in leadership development and succession planning at the executive level, inclusive assessment, coaching and upskilling.
Proven track record of the developing and modernizing performance management frameworks, reviewing and analyzing performance data.
Strategic thinker with hands-on execution skills.
Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and change management skills.
Strong understanding of global employment practices and cultural nuances.
Proficiency in English / mother tongue level both written and spoken is a must.
