ICT Procurement Manager 80-100%

Who are we?

As a young company, we are steadily growing. Our owners are the Confederation, the Digital Administration Switzerland (DVS), all cantons and numerous municipalities.  We enable joint digital government services by introducing and operating ICT applications for our owners as well as carrying out joint procurement projects. Services such as software development, managed IT services, hosting and security are sourced from the market. We see joint action and digitalisation as an opportunity for a modern public administration.

What will you achieve?

You will lead demanding procurement projects for our clients from the first contact to contract conclusion and service receipt. With your winning manner, you convince participation in procurement communities and advise the departments comprehensively in all phases of the procedure. Your tasks:

• Independent implementation of public procurements in the ICT environment in compliance with BöB/VöB/IVöB – you confidently advise our clients as project manager and lead the procurement projects to success
• Preparation of legally compliant tender documents, reports, decrees and templates at a high quality level
• Planning and accompanying procurement projects implemented by external project managers
• Advising departments on service procurement via existing framework agreements
• Supplier and contract management for completed tenders
• Coordinating and leading information events and workshops on individual procurement projects

With your many years of experience, professional expertise and routine from numerous public procurement projects, you confidently lead our procurements. You bring your structured working method, your procurement law know-how and your skills in stakeholder management.

Your profile:

• Several years of experience in public procurements in the ICT sector in a leading role.
• Interest in the latest technologies, innovations and trends (AI, cloud services, open source)
• Preferably a commercial education and completed further training in procurement (e.g. purchasing manager, specialist in public procurement or DAS public procurement)
• German or French as mother tongue, very good knowledge of the other language (bilingual), Italian an advantage
• Analytical, solution-oriented, strong in conceptual thinking
• You enjoy customer and supplier communication
• Proficient use of M365 applications
• Experience with public administrations is a plus
• Independent, reliable, digitally savvy and open in interaction
