The AGV

The Aargau Building Insurance, founded in 1805, is a centre of expertise for prevention, intervention and insurance. It is the oldest institution of its kind in Switzerland. It not only acts as an insurer – it also helps to prevent and reduce damage. Its services protect the population, assets and the environment.

The AGV insures buildings in the canton against fire, natural hazards and water damage. On the contract side, competent administrative support and handling of all concerns have the highest priority. We are expanding the Customer Service Contract and Sales team and are looking for you.

Your tasks

• You advise our customers competently and solution-oriented on all questions concerning building insurance.
• You handle concerns from corporate and private customers independently, efficiently and with a high level of service orientation.
• You take on administrative tasks in the contract area, for example: recording construction insurances, deleting or adjusting building insurances, including supplementary insurances, recording and processing minor changes and registrations of small buildings, as well as maintaining and managing data.
• You recognise customer needs and actively advise on our voluntary supplementary insurances.
• You maintain contact with customers, partners and internal departments by telephone and in writing and contribute to a positive customer experience.

Your profile

• You are a commercial clerk with a federal certificate of competence and have completed further training as an insurance intermediary VBV.
• You have already gained professional experience in the insurance environment. Ideally, you have also worked in customer service. Ideally, you also bring experience in a comparable customer service role.
• You communicate confidently, friendly and professionally – both in writing and by telephone.
• Your working method is structured, reliable and responsible.
• You enjoy customer contact and act in a service- and solution-oriented manner.
• You are confident in using common IT applications such as Microsoft Office and SAP.
